Removing the design clichés from Dentistry

Melbourne Dentistry is a general dental practice located on Collins Street in the Melbourne CBD, providing high quality comprehensive dental care. Lead by Dr Maria Petricevic, BDSc (Melb) the team values excellence in dental care and overall total health dentistry.

In order to establish a strong practice presence, to reflect breadth of service and allow for future growth of the practice, Dr Petricevic engaged Blink to develop a strong corporate brand for the business.

A new logo with a simple, modern and bold san serif font successfully communicates Melbourne Dentistry’s brand values – professional, advanced and authoritative, while its warm orange tone is a departure from the traditional dental colour palette of blue and green, and communicates an approachable, open and trustworthy personality.

Formerly trading under Dr Petricevic’s name, Blink advised a name change to Melbourne Dentistry, owing to its location in Melbourne’s CBD and to create a sense of authority and professionalism alongside other well known CBD dentists. It also removes the sole operator feel and creates a larger brand for future growth.

All brand collateral, stationery and online communications did away with clichéd images of dentists and patients and instead used modern and friendly lifestyle imagery, clean lines and colour blocking.
